Digital X-ray
All x-ray procedures require a referral from a doctor with a completed requisition.
You do not have to book an appointment for x-ray examinations. They are done on a "first come, first served" basis. Bring your completed requisition and BC Care Card with you at the time of the exam.

Bone Densitometry
Referral from a doctor with a completed requisition is required for Bone Densitometry. Bone Densitometry appointments are booked in advance.
To book an appointment you or your physician may call 604.941.7611, press 1. Please have your B.C. Care Card ready when you book your appointment.
Please bring your B.C. Care Card and your completed requisition with you when come for your examination.

Diagnostic Mammograms (for women having symptoms)
These tests require a referral from your doctor. Prior to booking the examinations the requisition must be faxed to 604.942.4612. Patients will be called to schedule an appointment after the requisition is received.
When you come for your appointment please bring your BC Care Card.
Routine screening mammograms in women without symptoms, are done through the Screening Mammography Program of B.C. located in the Gordon Professional Centre. This clinic is accessed through a separate entrance off the parking lot in the southeast corner of the building.
Ultrasound
All ultrasound examinations require a referral from your doctor with a completed requisition. To book all ultrasound examinations you or your physician may call

If you are having Ultrasound of the Breast your doctor must fax the requisition to 604.942.4612. We will contact you by telephone to schedule the examination once the requisition is received.
If you are having an obstetrical ultrasound and wish to have 4D ultrasound in addition please indicate this at the time of booking. The additional fee of $150 is payable at the time of your exam (sorry, we do not accept personal cheques).
Please have your BC Care Card ready. Bring your BC Care Card and your completed requisition with you at the time of the examination.

MRI
Booking an MRI scan requires a referral from a physician or specialist. A fax back form is available by clicking on the PDF link below. Please take care to fill in all the sections as there are very specific questions which need to be answered to insure your safety before the MRI scan can be booked. To reach us please call:

Our goal is to contact patients to complete the appointment booking within 48 hours of receiving the requisition. The MRI Scan can normally be scheduled within 1-2 working days.
