Since 1954, the BC Lions have been an influential member of the Canadian sports scene. Steeped in tradition and history, the club provides an exciting form of sports entertainment to a devoted and loyal fan base. Committed ownership, accomplished management and a winning team have helped propel the organization into a new era of sports entertainment.

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC

The Whitecaps organization dates back to 1974. The club has been known as the Whitecaps and the 86er’s, it has always made a unique and important contribution to professional sport and entertainment in Vancouver and British Columbia. The club has engaged in an increasingly integrated and planned approach, guided by three organizational goals which form their mission: to be one of the best small market sports franchises in the world, to grow the game of soccer in British Columbia & Canada and to be a significant community asset.

Simon Fraser University

SportMedBC

SportMedBC is a professional, not-for-profit society comprised of sport medical and paramedical practitioners in British Columbia, promoting leadership, public awareness and education in the areas of sport medicine, sport science and sport training. By serving as a focal point for experts, applied expertise and programs, SportMedBC serves the full continuum of British Columbians, spanning those oriented towards all levels of activity from Recreation to Fitness to Performance. Their mission is to promote Sport Health on the strength of the Best People, Best Practices and Best Programs in Sport Medicine, Sport Science and Sport Training.

The BC Titans

Vancouver’s basketball community has grown significantly over the past five years at all levels except for the professional level. The void created by the departure of the Vancouver Grizzlies has not been filled – so the time has come to complement the growth that the youth, high school, club, college and university levels have recently witnessed with a minor league professional basketball team. Their mandate to help develop BC talent will be supported by bringing together the best possible talent from BC together on one team. Titans’ game will be the only chance to see our local heroes together. Come out and support them!
