Screening Mammography Exam Preparation

 

Preparation for Mammograms


On the day of the examination:

  • Do not apply deodorant, body powder or lotion on your underarms or around the breasts
  • As mammography is a scent free environment, please do not use any perfumes
  • Wear clothing that can be removed from the waist up
