| 4D Ultrasound is an new ultrasound technology that provides parents with the opportunity to “see” their babies before they are born. Using multiple overlaid images, 4D ultrasounds can show a baby’s facial features, expressions, hand movements, stretches, yawns and even smiles while they are in the womb.
At MedRay, 4D ultrasounds are performed in conjunction with medical obstetrical ultrasounds only. The medical obstetrical ultrasound requires a doctor’s referral and the 4D imaging is done as an added, private fee service.
The 4D experience is displayed on our 32" LCD monitor and parents will receive selected images and video clips of the baby on CD.

As 4D ultrasound studies require significantly more time than the standard exam, requests for 4D MUST be made at the time of booking your ultrasound examination. The additional cost for a 4D ultrasound is $150 payable by cash, debit, Visa or Mastercard at the time of check-in.
